Brigitte Cromey likes her coffee light, her chocolate dark, and her stories a blend of both—especially when light ultimately triumphs over darkness. She’s lived in the desert southwest for most of her adult life, and has a soft spot for stories that feature a touch of dust and grit (tempered by the sunlight that turns everything to gold). Her favorite stories include ride-or-die siblings, white knight heroes in battered armor, villains you love to hate, and a compelling call to fight against the odds.

Robin Rakkeby

Often mistaken for an elf due to her height, Robin is actually two hobbits in a trench coat. She wields too many engineering degrees and has been known to disappear into nature (or a good book…she’s not picky). Robin would love to get her hands on fantasy and sci-fi filled with adventure and heart. If said books cleverly integrate subgenres like mystery or thrillers, so much the better! She’s also interested in stories that fill a niche within the broader SFF umbrella, such as steampunk or space westerns.
